Senior Developer (Kaunas, Lithuania)

Building the foundation of great games.

Your main responsibility will be writing C# (Unity 3D), some Java (Android integrations) & some Scala (backend services and scripts) code to support the infrastructure that powers our games.

This includes, bus is not limited to:

Integrating ad networks, ad mediation or other monetization solutions.
Integrating additional payment gateways into our games.
Designing and implementing system-wide solutions, like: integration with machine learning service to automatically optimize variables in game to produce maximum player satisfaction or revenue; implementing subscription monetization in our games.
Working on our in-house analytics solution (or suggesting external one that is better).

Requirements

Strong C# skills (OOP, generics, events, anonymous functions, stack vs heap, garbage collection).
Exposure to functional programming paradigm (Scala, Haskell, F#, OCAML, Idris, ...) or learning it before joining the team.
Strong general programming knowledge (OOP vs FP pros and cons, algorithm and data structure complexity, general knowledge about memory & networking).
Active and self-managed attitude. You should know when is it better to ask and when to Google and you shouldn't be micro managed.

It would be amazing if

Knew about reactive extensions (RX);
Had relational database experience;
Had debian based server administration experience;
Had extensive experience with Unity;
Had previous game projects to show off;
Knew several different programming languages;
Would be able to communicate in written and/or spoken English.

We currently mostly work on mobile games. However we want to explore other game genres as well once we gather a big enough team.

You would be equipped with a Windows based Intel i5/i7 PC with two monitors for work. We develop with Visual Studio & Resharper or other tools you require.

The salary is up to 2500€ after taxes. This opportunity is located in Kaunas, Lithuania.
